Despite the recent (and somewhat believable) rumors about Samsung considering a purchase of RIM, it looks like that will not be happening. The details are coming by way of a recent Reuters report where they offer up the following statement from Samsung spokesperson James Chung;
“We haven’t considered acquiring the firm and are not interested in (buying RIM),”
Now lets just hope that this Samsung buying RIM business will not carry on like the Samsung buying webOS business did. Bottom line, they denied they were interested so lets all move along until something more concrete surfaces.
